Day 30: Finalizing Your Progress

How far have you gone towards meeting your goal so far? If you’re like more people, then you’ve probably stalled once or twice along the way, if you haven’t given up altogether. Now is the time to get back on track. All that you need to do is use the advice in this series of posts.

It’s Time to Finalize Your Progress

Let’s jump ahead a bit. You’ve read everything in this series of posts and followed the advice provided. Where are you at? Have you met your goal? Have you changed your life? Did you learn the power of visualization exercises? What did you learn throughout the journey?

Or are you still at the beginning of your journey? Do you have all of the tools that you need in order to move forward? This can be done in many different ways, as you now have a number of useful tools at your disposal.

Moving Forward

Whether you’re just getting started on your first goal or have completed it and are ready to move on to the next one (in which case, jump ahead to the next section) you need to be ready to move forward. Always keep moving forward. When you look back too much, you’ll begin to falter and won’t be able to make that forward progress. You need to realize just how important it is that you keep moving in the right direction. And what direction is that? Forward, of course.

Setting Your Next Goal

Now, let’s discuss the importance of setting your next goal. This is a very important part of that forward progress that we’ve already mentioned. You’ve learned quite a bit throughout this process and are ready to keep that momentum going. This means that you need to choose your next goal quickly. If you stop for too long, you’ll stall.

Things to Remember

Before you continue on with your goal setting and accomplishing, you need to always remember to be flexible. People who are too rigid tend to crack under pressure. They give up too easily once they fail to meet that first goal. In order to keep going – no matter what – you need to be flexible. In addition to this, you always want to have people in your corner cheering for you. This is something that can definitely help you meet your goals and stay flexible. If you remember nothing else from these posts, focus on those two things.

Reflections

Finally, always take the time to reflect back on what you’ve done. This could be the goals that you’ve accomplished (even the small ones) and the celebrations that you’ve had once you meet those goals or even people who’ve cheered you on. This is a major learning process. Take advantage of it by reflecting on everything.
